About Tyler Roberts

About ATR Strategies
Tyler Roberts is a seasoned government relations and public affairs strategist with two decades of experience navigating complex policy landscapes, building coalitions, and shaping legislative outcomes at the highest levels of government and industry.
Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Public Affairs at Forbes Tate Partners and Executive Director of The Science Coalition, where he led multi-issue advocacy campaigns, spearheaded Capitol Hill outreach, and delivered strategic communications and grassroots mobilization for clients across the healthcare and scientific research sectors.
Prior to this role, Tyler was Vice President of Government Affairs at Venn Strategies, driving integrated advocacy efforts for a diverse portfolio that included pharmaceutical innovators, hospital systems, digital health startups, and critical infrastructure leaders in passenger and freight rail. He also served as Federal Affairs Director for Voices for Non-Opioid Choices, advancing access to alternative pain management therapies.
Earlier in his career, Tyler held key legislative roles in the U.S. Senate, serving as Policy Advisor and Legislative Assistant to Senator Dan Sullivan of Alaska. He was instrumental in drafting impactful legislation and forged strategic relationships with congressional leadership and advocacy stakeholders.
At Financial Executives International, Tyler led public affairs initiatives for Fortune 50 companies, founded influential coalitions focused on tax fairness, and chaired working groups on private sector policy.
His political career began on Capitol Hill with positions at the National Republican Congressional Committee and as Scheduler to U.S. Representative Jeff Fortenberry of Nebraska.
Tyler holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics from Lake Forest College and a master’s in government and public policy from The Johns Hopkins University.
His commitment to civic engagement extends to volunteer leadership with The Marfan Foundation, where he serves as the foundation’s Sticklers Syndrome Ambassador.
Tyler lives on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. but can be found traveling to all corners of the world.
